Alessandro Penna

Architect

Alessandro co-founded CIAO – Creative Ideas & Architecture Office Ltd in 2016 with Diego Dalpra, assuming the role of Partner and Co-Director. Prior to this, he worked as a Project Architect at award-winning practices Ash Sakula and Douglas & King Architects, specializing in medium-scale residential and mixed-use developments. He is a qualified Architect and member of ARB, RIBA and Architects board of Trento. At CIAO, he has led numerous multimillion-pound residential and mixed-use schemes for private clients and investors, as well as overseeing high-profile retail projects, including the refurbishment of Cassina's London showroom and the new Lanificio Colombo retail space in Harrods. With extensive expertise in planning policies and building regulations, Alessandro is a trusted advisor to property developers and investors, providing strategic guidance on the feasibility and potential of prospective deals. In 2023, CIAO expanded internationally with the opening of a new office in Milan lead by Dario Caccamisi in the role of Associate Director, which helped them securing projects in Italy, Spain, Monaco and Switzerland. More recently, Alessandro has embarked on a new business venture focused on acquiring and refurbishing derelict properties for rental or resale in London's dynamic property market. In 2025, Alessandro further expanded his professional network by becoming a member of the international network Valenti Legal and Business Consulting.
