The term "intellectual property" refers to that set of rights of a personal and patrimonial nature that give the author and other specified parties a valid title to dispose of and economically exploit their works.

It is important for Client Companies to know that their business ideas are eligible for protection through so-called intellectual property rights (IPRs), whatever the sector in which they operate (fashion, pharmaceutical, IT, food, etc.).

Different types of protectable IPRs are contemplated, including: copyright and related rights, trademarks, patents, industrial designs, geographical indications, trade secrets, etc.
